Strengths:    Ulnar nerve gel padding works great and is in the perfect place. Good ventilation in fingers and palm. Reinforced patch between forefinger and thumb prevents chafing. Faux suede palm can take quite a beating.

Weaknesses:    Spandex threads starting to come loose from the nylon between fingers. Plenty of ventilation holes means you'll get some small debris in your glove when you hit the dirt. Two words: Pink accents.

Bottom Line:
This is my first pair of MTB gloves (only just started riding off-road last May). They're comfy and fit well despite my long fingers and small palm. The fake suede has held up well on typical NorCal dry, brushy hillsides through my growing pains: endo's, failure to unclip, skid outs (before switching to the Nevegals), etc.

Unfortunately the abundance of ventilation holes means I've occasionally had to shake out dirt and small rocks from the gloves and pick out some thorns from my fingers. The Spandex threads are coming loose in both pinkies, but it's not affecting performance. And I picked off that rubbery pink diamond around the logo on the back of the hand--not all women who ride bikes feel the need to celebrate the fact that they are women riding bikes. (Tried coloring it in with a permanent marker, but it rubbed off.)

Overall, these are good gloves for 3-season x-c trail use. They're lightweight and offer good coverage without bulk.
