Submitted by Gary S a Weekend Warrior from Carlsbad, CA
Date Reviewed: August 11, 2007
Favorite Trail:Calavera, Flightline
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Price Paid: $15.00
Purchased At:Price Point
Strengths:Full finger for protection, Heel pads, Breathable
Weaknesses:Heel pads seem to be placed in areas where they don't help me too much the way i put force on my handlebars.
Similar Products Used:Bell 3/4 gloves (cheapo)
Bike Setup:Jamis Eureka, Marzocchi DJ2's
Bottom Line:These are a good glove for protection. Nice and breathable for the hot days. Offer a good level of grip and clean up nicely in the washer.

Date Reviewed: June 7, 2007
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $15.00
Purchased At:PricePoint
Strengths:Cheap. Lightweight.
Weaknesses:Fall apart waaay to quickly, palm worn through, fingers torn, stitching loose. Poor fit, tab to fasten badly placed.
Similar Products Used:Fox, Thor, Answer, TLD, etc.
Bottom Line:They're supposedly cheap, so can't complain about them being cheap... but, for an extra $10 could buy excellent MX gloves that would outlast these glove at least three times. Would not buy again or recomend them.

Date Reviewed: April 29, 2007
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $15.00
Purchased At:Pricepoint.com
Strengths:Price, Durability.
Weaknesses:The sizes are a little off.
Similar Products Used:Pearl Azumi
Bike Setup:Motobecane Fantom Elite. XT everything. Fire XC Pro
Bottom Line:These gloves are worth the money. They are durable and they breathe well.

The only complaint I have is the sizing. I bought a large pair, but they are too small. I have tried on numerous gloves from other brands. Every othe brand the Large fit great. With these gloves the Large needs longer fingers and thumb. Buy a size up. Other than that the gloves are awesome.

Date Reviewed: May 3, 2005
Favorite Trail:Continental Divide/Silver Creek
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $15.00
Purchased At:Pricepoint
Strengths:Comfortable, breathable
Weaknesses:Fit/Durability
Similar Products Used:AXO full finger gloves
Bike Setup:Specialized Enduro, SRAM x.9 rear derailuer and trigger shifters.
Bottom Line:I had minor problems with the fit of these gloves. The size medium 3/4 finger version fit great, but the full finger gloves are a little too small(my fault for purchasing online with trying them on). I'm 5'10", 165 lbs. The result is that after only a few months use, the index and middle fingers on both hands are wearing through.

Date Reviewed: February 1, 2005
Favorite Trail:fire/logging roads
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $15.00
Purchased At:Pricepoint
Strengths:Good fit, well made, good materials, muted colors, look good, super price. Holding up well.
Weaknesses:Rubber patch on back of hand-- very constricting. I took forever to cut each stitch (with a very pointy, sharp scissors) to remove them and the fit and feel were improved 500 percent. Be careful when you do this so you don't damage the glove.
Similar Products Used:None. My first pair of full fingers.
Bike Setup:'98 C-dale F1000 hardtail.
Bottom Line:Buy these gloves, but take the stupid patch off.

Submitted by aj in ma a Cross Country Rider from western mass.
Date Reviewed: December 7, 2004
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $15.00
Purchased At:price point
Strengths:perfect fit, good protection, very durable and great quality for the $$
Weaknesses:Only available in one color (blue)
Similar Products Used:Axo, Azonic and Fox
Bike Setup:GF Tassajara w/Hayes discs, Avid levers, Mavic 219s, Panaracers, Ritchey clipless pedals, Titec bar & stem
Bottom Line:These gloves have to be the best bargain out there. After spending a fortune on brand name gloves and never getting near a season out of a pair, it's nice to know that someone is offering a glove that not only is comfortable and looks good, but protects well (for x country riding anyway), wears like iron, and is half the price of some brand name gloves. I ride between five and seven times a week and also use them for hiking in cooler (not cold) weather, so my gloves really get beat up. If you like paying for a name to impress your friends, these gloves aren't for you. If you like quality and value without having to pay for all the hype, try 'em.

Submitted by Brendan a from Ardsley, NY, USA
Date Reviewed: September 24, 2004
Favorite Trail:Eric over the Log
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $15.00
Purchased At:Price point
Strengths:Pretty comfortable, decent padding, good crash protection, easily washable, nice for the weekend warrior
Weaknesses:After a season of riding, they have gotten worn out to the point that in some places my fingers are exposed. This is due to a large number of crashes throughout the season. Not suitable for the intense riders.
Similar Products Used:Other gloves like trek, cannondale
Bike Setup:KHS FXT PRO, w/XT and avid discs
Bottom Line:Good product for 15 bucks, but im not going to buy a new pair because they burn out too fast. But thats what you get for only 15 dollars. And u never know ur mileage my vary. In the end, they save you from a lot of pain for not too much pain in ur pocket.
