Date Reviewed: August 8, 2008
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $30.00
Purchased At:t-bike
Strengths:it's confortable, does not warm up excessively in summer, looks good.
Weaknesses:the "rubberized palm" writing on wears off in a few days, the silione on the brake fingers also wear out in about 4 months, the finger material also wear off fast.
Similar Products Used:o'neal reactor (very good) answer team 4 (resonable).
Bike Setup:sibex siberian + dt swiss xmc + crosstrail wheels etc
Bottom Line:looks beat up after 6 months. It's a good glove but it is not long lasting like others i've tryed.

Favorite Trail:womble
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $15.00
Purchased At:pricepoint
Strengths:good fit, i like the fact that it grips no matter how much you are sweating, counts for alot in this part of the world.seem to be put together well.
Weaknesses:none yet
Similar Products Used:fox, AXO(junk)
Bike Setup:Steelman Manzanita with XT and Marzocchi fork
Bottom Line:these gloves are the nicest gloves that i have used. The fox gloves held up fairly well. I had a bad experience with AXO gloves. A pair self destructed in a 12 hour race when I called AXO customer service I was shuffled to someones voice mail and never heard another thing.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GLOVES!

Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $15.00
Purchased At:Pricepoint
Strengths:Price

Construction
Colour (orange, baby!)
Weaknesses:Fit
Wristflex system is weird
Similar Products Used:Fox,Pearl Izumi
Bottom Line:Good gloves, but the sizing on my pair is a bit off. The right glove is perfect, the left one is way tight. Both are tagged medium. Can't complain at the price, though.

The Wristflex system is just strange - small flap extending cuff of glove on the underside of the wrist. Why? Can't cut it off without uglifying the glove. Stupid.

Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $25.00
Strengths:lightweight,good fit,nice looking
Weaknesses:none so far
Similar Products Used:spesh
Bike Setup:spesh
Bottom Line:this is the perfect glove for most types of riding.even if it pissed down you still stayed comfortable & on a really cold(wind chill factor -10) day i wore a base layer glove underneath for a bit of extra warmth,it restricted movement a little bit but not enough to annoy.a very versatile all round glove.

Date Reviewed: June 14, 2002
Favorite Trail:Quantocks
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $20.00
Purchased At:Ralph Colman Cycles
Strengths:Comfy, looks good, fits well, grippy.
Wristflex is really well designed
Weaknesses:None
Similar Products Used:Answer DH gloves, Specialised Body Geometry
Bike Setup:GT i-drive, Kona singlespeed, Vitus Roadbike
Bottom Line:As you can see, I ride very different bikes but these gloves are perfect for each.
I honestly cannot see the point in spending any more on gloves, even for light DH because they are amply padded.
Granted you might like the security of big heavy mitts, but if Steve Peat (unofficial number 1 downhiller in the world) wears Troy Lee XC gloves, why do you need to have anything heavier? And these gloves arn't heavy.
