Have you noticed that every time you try to put your hand through a tree at 30 mph, the tree wins Oakley feels you. The Hand Ratchet Glove can take some of the pain out of high-speed tree punching, or downhill, as some people call it. Padded KEVLAR knuckles put a little more power behind your punch while still allowing plenty of flexibility. The Clarino palm wicks sweat while the durable HAR reinforcement keeps the palm tough enough for a whole season of punch-the-tree.
Strengths: ? Very, VERY durable. Gloves don't show any sign of damage even after taking a massive spill in Whistler.
? Comfortable.
? Really good grip.
Weaknesses: ? Gloves did stretch a bit after some time, but that's something that happens to every pair of gloves.
Bottom Line:
These gloves are awesome. They are very comfortable (no stitching on the palms whatsoever); they are super breathable, so they will dry up pretty fast and won't stink like most gloves do. Even though they did stretch a little bit, these are awesome gloves.
I got them for very cheap since I worked at a bike shop, but now that I've tried them I definitely would've paid full retail price (~40$).
