Date Reviewed: March 19, 2001

Strengths:    Lightweight, breathable, grippy palms and fingers, windproof, relatively warm

Weaknesses:    Fabric used for palms and fingers is MUCH too weak to stand up to daily use or serious riding.

Bottom Line:
Good glove for a few months, but not nearly good enough to justify the price. Palm material is simply too weak to stand up to normal use. I use this bike as a winter commuter, and after 3 months, the fingers and thumbs are all wearing away - and I'm a road racer, not a mountain biker.

Strengths:    Warm, not bulky.

Weaknesses:    After getting wet the leather palms get stiff. Other than that they are great

Bottom Line:
Great gloves for riding in the fall or winter. The windstopper keeps your hands warm but Ive never gotten sweaty with them. Since they are thin you have a great feel of your bars. They've held up good after several good crashes too.

Strengths:
Very Warm, Lightweight, Tough, Good Looks, Wind Resistant

Weaknesses:
None

Bottom Line:
These gloves are great! They keep your hands very, warm. They are made from Gore Wind Stopper material which blocks the wind very well. They are lightweight and give you a very good feel of the handlebars. The palms are reinforced with a rough surface for added grip. They look really good too! Nashbar had them last year. I hear Gander Mountain (Outdoor Store)has them. Look for specials in the spring (I paid $20. Well worth it).
