Classic leather-palm cycling glove featuring time tested comfort improved with advanced performance fabrics. Genuine leather palms provide the ultimate in soft and supple, yet abrasion resistant, hand protection; laminated palm padding absorbs shocks. Lycra backs are soft next to your skin and stretch to provide a snug, custom fit; Velcro(R) wrist tabs keep the gloves on your hands. Lycra backs also wick moisture away from your skin and dry quickly keeping your hands cool and comfortable. Terry cloth lined thumb is useful for wiping the sweat off your brow when cranking up your favorite incline.

Great gloves! They are very comfortable and are made with a nice leather. They are great!
Weaknesses:

Bottom Line:
Great gloves made with great-but not heavy duty-materials. Buy them if you want good, inexpensive gloves!

Purchased At:

Strengths:
Comfortable, flexible fit, snug but not too tight, ventilate pretty well, very soft
Weaknesses:
Some loose threads at edges of fingers, sizing somewhat incosnsistent from pair to pair -- try several
Bike Setup:
1992 Giant Sedona, set up for city cycle commuting
Bottom Line:
The Louis Garneau gloves are among the best reasonably-priced basic warm-weather cycling gloves I've used. The leather and lycra are softer and more flexible than in other brands I've tried, and they seem well built. However, threads at the finger holes do tend to come loose sooner than they probably should. Still, the gloves hold together well, and they served me excellently during three solid months of bike commuting in the city this summer. When the warm weather comes again, they're ready to replace my full-finger gloves for another season. Good value.
