Strengths:
Lake has made a solid product with the Durango. It has extra rubber tips on the end of the thumb, index, and middle fingers, and across the middle of the palm, wich means extra grip when two finger-braking, or just quick shifting in general. It doesn't go too far up the wrist, but just enough, and has material that around the weist that absorbs sweat. It feels nice and protective, without any loss of sensitivity while riding. It's an all around nice glove............................but
Weaknesses:
First of all, the name. Durango sounds like a bad character in a spaghetti western, or and automobile, but so what. It seams, every so often, that this glove bunches in the middle where the extra rubber strip is. it hasn't gotten in the way just yet, but one might feel the need to adjust it while riding, and when in that sense of euphoria, we just aren't thinking clearlty, and down one might go, if one were so inclined. But, it just might be a comfort thing.

I'm talking about gloves.
Bottom Line:
The bottom line is that Lake came out with a quality item. It might be a few dollars more that other brands, but upon riding with them, it is alright to drop a few dollars more on a quality product. It's hard to go in depth about a pair of gloves, I mean they all cover your hands, but, these Durangos truly are comfortable, while protective, and give you a feal of security and confidance while riding with them.
