Strengths:    Lightweight
Good for summer
XC oriented

Weaknesses:    No protection from falls
Silicon fingertips wear off

Bottom Line:
These gloves are meant for cross country racers and road bikers. If you are freeriding or riding DH get more moto influenced gloves. These are very light gloves which will not protect your hands from rock gardens, but will prevent you from getting blisters.
