Strengths: Looks, comfort
Weaknesses: Developed hole after two rides, seams coming apart on both gloves after mild use. No wind protection.
Bottom Line:
These are cheap-a$$ gloves made in some sweat shop in Asia. Fox is a brand image, not a quality clothing manufacturer. Read the reviews on this website and get something better

Strengths: Thin so you can still feel what your fingers are doing. For the price they are good for recreational riding. Serious riders should look for something tougher.
Weaknesses: Sizing is off and durability is questionable. I ordered the large because that's the size the chart recomended for my hand width, but I really need an X-large. Had some trouble reaching the shift trigger because the palm was too tight. Also, I found 2 holes in the finger seams when I put them on for my first ride. Can't return them now because they've been used, but they weren't expensive so I'll tough it out for now. Not very warm though.
Bottom Line:
If you can get them on sale for a good price, and do not ride in really cold weather they might be ok. Be sure to get a size larger than the chart recommends. I may try to do some tailoring on mine to make them fit better.

Strengths: Great style, function of the 2002 model year glove.
Weaknesses: The fit of these size 10/L gloves feels a little looser then the size 10/L 2002 Fox Sidewinder gloves I use.
Bottom Line:
I ordered these gloves online at the same time I ordered a pair of 2002 Fox Sidewinder gloves on sale in Nov. 2003 after a crash on a night ride on Oct.15,03. My pair are grey in colour as the black colour in size 10/L were sold out. I've only used these a few times when I go out on day & night rides and the gloves from the day ride are still quite damp. Bottom Line: These gloves fit a little looser then my Sidewinders and when it comes to controlling your bike... fit means everything.
Strengths: Styling, offers more knuckle protection than my Dirtpaws, hell of a price
Weaknesses: they are definitely warmer than the Dirtpaw, not as ventilated. The Sidewinder or one of the new kevlar jobs like the 661 Gracia would offer more protection.
Bottom Line:
For $10, they were a steal. And Fox is So Hot Right Now.

Strengths: Great price, looks cool, tight fit. Purchased to replace bulky snow gloves for early spring rides. Hands aren't warm, but better than I thought after they arrived.
Weaknesses: Size chart is very weird, I bought the XXL thinking they would run a little big. They fit like, well, a glove. Terry cloth is on the thumb instead of the back of the hand. very little padding. No biggy.
Bottom Line:
As stated above, I bought them because they were cheap and might cut the wind. Worked out well.

Bottom Line:
After wear and tear: - the internal feels slightly rough - the seams are very irritating - vents OK - finger grippers almost gone - terry cloth, not top-notch stuff: pilling and seams going dodgy - still looks cool
Minus 1 chilli.
For another AUD$15 I can get SixSixOne Descend gloves and I've used Descends when they were made by AXO and they're still the best glove I've ever used overall. I know I'm replacing these Statics with the 661's

Strengths: killer looks
Weaknesses: poor ventilation, not enough pads to protect you from crash. The rubber strip on the index finger doesn't really works
Bottom Line:
Dont buy this product if you want total protection from crash. Its poorly ventilated so i wouldn't recommend it if u have a tropical weather like here in the Phils. But if you want an attention from your fellow riders then go for it. If you have extra buck i suggest the rudy project full finger. Its properly ventilated and well padded.

Strengths: Great fit, great protection, terry cloth wipe on thumbs
Weaknesses: Could use a little more padding on the palm
Bottom Line:
Well, even though these gloves are well ventilated, they are still hot if I'm riding out in the open. I should have bought the gray ones instead but overall, I'm really pleased with these gloves and compared to my lightweight LGs, with no rubber on the fingers, the Statics ventilate just as well.
Next time around though, I'll be sure to pick up a lighter color. They're great in the winter, too. I've ridden in temps down to 5 deg. and have been comfortable with them (after I get warmed up :) )

Strengths: I think this glove looks really sweet, and it is very light. it is cool and not too hot.
Weaknesses: I think that it doesnt have enough padding in the palm. I dont think you should buy it if you want protection from hard crashes, but just for scratches and such should be fine.
Bottom Line:
i think this glove is well worth the money, and it feels and looks great. they add nice style to the riding, and are nice to wear
Weaknesses: WEAK, used up materials, had holes in the hand within a month, braking rubber grips on fingers completely gone within a week, seams of the padding getting off, cheap glove. And don't tell me it's just me because 2 of my friends had the same problems.
Bottom Line:
I sent my gloves to this C R A P P Y company and they wouldn't even guaranteed them saying it's usual wear. I work in a bike shop and i know what should and what shouldn't be guaranteed and this really should, we are sure going to complain to the company. And they didn't even offered to repair them!!! What kind of company is that??? I paid these gloves at cost and it's still too expensive. BOYCOTT FOX RACING!!! Biking products compagny, in your dreams!! Anybody who doesn't even know a thing about biking can buy their products at zellers. THEY SPONSOR THE BACKSTREET BOYS FOR GOD SAKE!! But hey, it's your choice to pay twice the price of what it's worth just to have a fox logo.

Strengths: The pic above is outdated. -the new glove like mine in red looks awesome and kind of matches the 'McLaren' colour scheme of my bike and some gear. -good balance between flexibility and durablity and padding -small rubber 'grippers' on index and middle fingers for braking -tough-built but cool enough for an aussie summer
Weaknesses: -the rubber 'grippers' mention above are starting to bubble abit on my right glove, probably due to the combination of summer heat, heavy use on a slippery-as-hell gravel trail course and grippy Michelin handgrips. but that does not ruin using this wonderful glove.
Bottom Line:
-Heaps better than all my other gloves combined, only sign of wear is with the finger rubber grippers, but very little. No sign of wear or fatigue on any other part of the glove no matter how many times I have crash on them. -Built tough but not hot and stuffy to use during summer. -Priced higher than my other gloves but well worth the extra cash for this wicked glove.
RESPECT to all the 12 hour riders esp. solo riders in the upcoming 2004 12hr Ward Cycles race.

-AXO - used my rarely used glove with leather grip area, thin-ass material lasted longer but not by much.
-O'Neal -bought to replace the AXOs but lost one glove on trip to Rottnest, area btweenthe index finger and thumb star to wear through on the right side, because I use grip-shifters.

Strengths: Looks great and feels even better. There is padding on both sides for protection and plenty of grip to hold on to your handle bars and pull your brakes. I've found the grips on your first to fingers a nice touch, whether it makes a huge difference is a matter of opinion.
Weaknesses: There isn't a whole lot of padding on the underside where you grip the handlebars, so you may feel it if you're braking a fall, but it does add it flexibility.
Bottom Line:
Nice fit at a great price (great deals at Supergo for last year's models)

Strengths: Comfy and cool
Weaknesses: could do with a little more padding
Bottom Line:
A very protective and comfy glove that fits well and is made with excellent quality. The only problem is that the glove could either do with a little extra padding in the palm area or hava kevlar patch in the palm area, but apart from that this is an excellent glove.
