When you're wearing the DAKINE Ventilator Glove you can say goodbye to sweaty palms at the top of a hairy descent.Synthetic leather palms have added cushion for utilitarian comfort, and silicone-rubber fingertips for maximum gripFour-way stretch nylon fabric features mesh panels that draw cool air in while releasing heat and moisture
Strengths: They cover your hands; fits fine; good colors.
Weaknesses: internal seems are harsh, so not too comfy
Bottom Line:
I've used a few different fox gloves, 661, TLD, etc. These Dakines are by far the least comfortable pair of gloves I've owned. I they were all I had, and I had do get down a jagged trail, I'd wear them. Seems like the seems between the breathing fabric patches (meshy stuff) and the other materials are not done very well, and the result is a glove that feels like foxtails are poking through. Dakine makes some nice gear, but they missed the mark with this one.
They're getting 5 for value because I got them for free.
