Strengths: I have the men's version of this glove. They are the best gloves I have ever owned. Protection where you need it, and no superfluous bulk where you don't. It's a shame that they are no longer made and there newer 661 relative of the same name is a totally different design. After years, my black Descends are falling apart, but they held up incredibaly well considering there lightweight, relatively thin, design. I have a problem with heatsensitivity due to a neurological condition, so it's imperative that whatever protective/functional gear I wear is breathable and not extremely bulky.Weaknesses: Lightweight. Perhaps not ultra-durable.Bottom Line: There presently seems to be a paucity of quality MTB gloves on the market at this point, then again, perhaps i'm just ignorant. I'd be curious to hear if anyone has used the SAlsa El moto gloves.
Duration Product Used: More than 3 years
Price Paid:
$45.00
Similar Products Used: 661 gloves. TLD apex, etc.
Bike Setup: KHS frame, Marzochi forks, Salsa bars, SRAM set-up (new), etc., basically the poor man's pieced up expensive free-ride MTB
