These MTB gloves are non-restrictive, extremely lightweight and reinforced in all the right places; half-finger design is ideal for warm weather.. Lightly padded synthetic-leather palms absorb trail shock while the backs are made of flexible Spandura®, which allows cool air to circulate. Thumbs and forefingers are reinforced with Clarino® synthetic leather for durability when using twist grip-style shifters. Sweat-absorbing terry cloth is built into thumb and index finger area. Velcro® closure at wrist for a secure fit. Closeout.

Bottom Line:
I just now ordered new gloves and am still using (for five years) these gloves. They are still in reasonably good shape. I don't ride everyday, but at least a couple times a week. They are faded and worn, but still together and definately usable as a glove. I still don't care for the full finger thumb, which is why I'm not going to purchase these same gloves again, but if they have the same glove without the full finger thumb, I would be sold for life. These things have adequate padding and have maintained their integrity for longer than any glove would be expected to. Five chilies for the durability and longevity.

What does this have to do with gloves?
Bottom Line:
I've used these gloves for about two years now. They haven't fallen apart like the other "cheapo" brand gloves I'm used to using. In fairness, the cheapo gloves still lasted at least a couple years each (although they were in VERY poor condition). I don't really understand the need for a full fingered thumb. I feel the glove would be better with a half-fingered thumb, but it is just my opinion. These gloves have minimal padding in the palm area which might be a turn-off to some, but hasn't been a problem for me. Overall, these gloves work fine. I got them on sale, so they are a good value for me, and overall, I'd say they are good, but not great.
