Strengths: great fit. breathes good. finally, i have enough terrycloth.Weaknesses: neoprene tore where it was sewn to the terry part. several tears.Bottom Line: this is a great glove for 1-2 years, then it starts tearing at several places. but for the price, its worth it.

Strengths: Comfortable, airy, big snot padWeaknesses: Lack of padding (maybe), falling apart after a year's hard useBottom Line: Very comfortable gloves, although they could perhaps do with a little more padding. Look great too. Still, the fact that the stitching is going on both of them means I can't fully recommend them - unless you don't mind replacing your gloves on a yearly basis.

Strengths: Great FitWeaknesses: NoneBottom Line: AXO gloves fit great. Fox gloves are probably better padded in the palm but AXO's just fit better. They breathe very well too.

Strengths: These gloves have excellent hand coverage. Great features, washable, sturdy palms, knuckle pads and the colors are great. These are also excellent for guys with big hands, Im an ex b-baller with huge hands and the AXO's fit nicely.Weaknesses: Sold out at Nashbar too quickly!Bottom Line: Excellent glove for the money if you can find them. These are my first pair of AXOs and I am very impressed. Strong construction, no loose threads, high quality leather. Overall an excellent glove, best ones I've used and I've used a ton.

Strengths: Fit & appearanceWeaknesses: NoneBottom Line: These glove fit great. They're comfortable & they look great. They wash up well. I've got a few pairs of gloves available to me each time I ride. Unless the weather is warm, I grab the AXO's every time. They stay pretty cool during borderline days, and they're pretty warm during the cool days of SoCal winters (did he say SoCal winters?)
These are strictly XC gloves. If you need protection to your upper hand/fingers... obviously you need a DH glove or the equivalent.
Bottom line is they're an excellent glove. If you get it now from Nashbar, they're on sale for $14.99. I just ordered another pair. For this glove.... that's a steal!
Since the retail price is $37., I only gave the value rating 4 chilis, but the overall is a very solid 5. AXO simply makes the best gloves... hands down.

Strengths: Good looks, very comfortable.Weaknesses: Neoprene around wrist tore pretty quick and the strap on one of the gloves is starting to tear off.Bottom Line: I love these gloves. They are very comfortable and have kept me fairly warm this winter.
I suppose the tearing is because I like my gloves tight but it's disappointing that it happened after less than three months. I've purchased another pair to see if it is a problem with the line of gloves or just the pair I bought ... will let you know.
5 chilis for looks and comfort ... 3 for durability for an average of 4.

Strengths: Great fit
Breatheability
cool orange colorWeaknesses: None so farBottom Line: I like these gloves. Mainly bought them cause the price was right (15 @ Gear.com), but it turns out they're pretty damn good. Give 'em a try. Can't give 'em more than 3 chilis because I've only done some light riding with them, and for less than a month, but they're working out so far.
