Strengths: Review for the '09 V3: excellent paint (durable and clean looking), strong construction (has the perfect amount of flex but not too much, very comfortable, ventilates well, light (2.9 lbs.) especially for a MX helmet, extra visor and screw set, very high quality bag included, EXCELLENT value for the priceWeaknesses: none so farBottom Line: awesome helmet for the price (if you can get it for 200 or less, it retails for $375) the best full face i've ever used, its DOT and snell approved so it offers more protection than a mtn bike helmet, it is still light even compared to mtn bike helmets (ex.- the rockgrdn blacklight is a mtnbike helmet advetised as being exceptionally light, the v3 is a MX helmet and weighs the same 2.9 lbs)

Strengths: Review for '07 V3 Pilot.
Very light 2.9lbs. Great graffics. Great ventalation. Comes with top end bag and extra visor.Weaknesses: A little pricy but still less $ than a Troy Lee and has full frontal protection(DOT & SNELL).Bottom Line: Just spent the first 2 days out with this helmet and have to say a good MX helmet is not that much heavier or hotter than any good bicycle helmet and the added protection is well worth a bit of extra weight. This would be great for any DH racer or serious freerider who must worry about high speed impacts.

-Pricy thing...retail is $350.00-400Bottom Line: This is for the Pilot RC4, which is a little different than the regular RC. It's an awesome helmet. It is extremely strong and well constructed. I have had insane crashes where I think the helmet is totally trashed, then i find out only the paint is chipped off. It's a little bulky, but stregnths your neck muscles. If you're worried about your neck getting sore every time you use it, dont worry cause thats only for the first ride. I hit big drops and the weight is not noticeable after a few rides. Great helmet, but very pricy.
