The new Equinox is the ultimate precision eyewear for cycling. We combined the latest production techniques and new developments into 1 piece of high-tech eyewear. The standard lenses fitted will be photochromic. This photochromic lens has a luminous transmittance range from cat.1 to cat.3. We also added a sun-only lens, a yellow contrast lens and a protective clear lens to make sure the Equinox can be adapted to all individual preferences in order to be used in truly every condition.

Strengths: This is a nice set of glasses. It comes with 4 different glasses:: photochromatic ( class 1-3), transparent, yellow and mirror/smoke( class 3 ), in a nice pouch. Quality is excellent. Frame fits well, it does not bother you.
Optical quality of the glasses is very good and they are coated against fogging.
The frame sits high on the nose, which is an advantage for cyclist, but makes it impractical for everyday use. This can be slightly adjusted by the nosepads, but still gives the 'frown'-look.
Frame and 1 set of glasses together weigh 26 grams.
Weaknesses: For me the biggest weakness is the ugly shiny inset just above the nosepiece. Combined whith the frowned design it attracts to much attention. Don't know what the designer was thinking when he put this in. But a bit of paint and now my frame is all black.
Another weakness is the fact that spare glasses are not readily available.
Bottom Line:
For me this set is the best I've owned so far. It me be my head .. but these glasses are the only ones I can wear without noticing I'm wearing them.
Add the very good optical quality and it is really value for money.
