Strengths:    shape, coolness... excellent for doormen and bodyguards :D

Weaknesses:    no excellent adhesion on the head, compared to other Oakley models

Bottom Line:
The Oakley SCAR has a unique shape and is not made for babyfaces!! It's best for badasses. 8)

Unfortunately, this model has been sold out... :(

Damn, Oakley shall release a new SCAR!!! >(

Strengths:    Looks, feel, style, glasses. The polirazationprocess of Oakley really works, it realy eliminates the glare.

Weaknesses:    At one side the earstem swivel thingy is getting loose. Hav eto tighten this once in a while. Probable a mondaymorning pair of glasses.

Bottom Line:
great, goodlooking and good product quality. Except for the swivel/fix/bolt thing. But thats forgiven.

Strengths:    I actually own a pair of twenties, and they fit better than any other pair of sunglasses I have owned. They also look great

Weaknesses:    the rubber-like paint bubbles up off the frames and peels off. I think this is a problem with their frog-skin line of glasses. I own the fmj red color.

Bottom Line:
after about a summer of use the paint started to bubble off the frames and peel. I sent them back to oakley and they were very cool about it, I got a new pair in about 2 weeks. However the new pair is starting to do the same thing. I would avoid the frog-skin line of sunglasses as they all use the same type of coating. It's too bad because they are comfy and fit very well.

Date Reviewed: July 30, 2003

Strengths:    Looks good, exellent optics, stays on my head when i'm moving, tough frame construction.

Weaknesses:    Low quality paint or whatever used on the frames (FMJ Red). It will bubble up and chip off after a while. I sent the glasses to the manufacturer to get them fixed and they sent me a new pain and they're starting to do the same thing. Has this happened to anyone else?

Bottom Line:
They'd be the perfect specs if it wasnt for the stupid paint that keeps bubbling up off of the frames. Can't complain about the price either! I use them in both a casual setting as well as when i'm ridding my bike through the woods and they do well in both categories.
