Product Description

We took the formulas for lens rake and XYZ Optics®, trimmed the dimensions and honed the aesthetics. Condensed cranial geometry produces eyewear for smaller faces-because wind, UV and projectiles don't sidestep the challenge of tighter targets. Optical acuity remains full scale with a wide-screen peripheral view.

Strengths:    Have worn the Minutes for 8 years, since I was 10. The only signs of wear and tear appeared in the 8th year. Other than that, its supremely comfortable, and I would recommend it to anyone

Weaknesses:    Feels flimsy. I'm always afraid the stems could snap for no reason.

Bottom Line:
One of the best in the world. Simple, gets the job done. Nuff said.

Strengths:    great optical clarity, good contrast, lens only got a scratch when i landed eye first onto a barbed wire fence, didn't move or break at all, great customer services

Weaknesses:    depends on your attitude really, 4 years of sick abuse and they're still going strong, none to me

Bottom Line:
Oakleys have been around for a long time and they're just about the best when it comes to customer service, i drove over a pair of eyejackets and they replaced the frames for free, just paid shipping. Really can't fault the eyewear in any way. although you may find yourself getting addicted to buying them, see list of owned pairs above, love 'em, still need more, lol

Strengths:    Great lenses. Good fit

Weaknesses:    The lenses are great and they fit perfect....that's when the ear stem is not broken! The design in the ear stem is known for breaking and yet, they have kept it for many years. Mine broke about 6 months after buying them and Oakley kindly replaced the parts (I paid shipping though). As expected, about 6 months later they broke again, but this time I was out of warrantly. Oakley's response was that they could assess if it was deffective manufacturing or my fault. If it's their fault, they would replace the entire frame for free, if not, they could give me a quote for the piece. Off course, the customer service lady does not have a clue of the prices, but after many question she revealed that whether is a defective piece or my fault, they will *always* charge an "assessment" fee of almost $30!!! What kind of business model is that? I just can't buy the parts directly from them. First they need to assess if the part is broken or not (yeah, I can't tell that by myself!), pay shipping to and from their facilities, and finally receive my sunglasses. If you add everything up, you may as well buy new glasses.

Bottom Line:
Don't buy Oakley. There are many better options out there. I gave two chilis to the overall rating since the glasses are nice during the short period when they are in one piece

Strengths:    Stays in position, looks great, Oakly customer service.

Weaknesses:    Fogging, rubber sleeves on arms get loose over time.

Bottom Line:
I am very happy with these glasses. The rubber sleeves on the arms hold the glasses firmly in place. I wear these glasses snowboarding also, and I've taken some pretty hardcore falls without the glasses moving.

My only real complaint is when I stop moving, they begin to fog up. As soon as I start moving again, the fog goes away though.

For all the people who have complained about them breaking: Call the Oakley factory and tell them. Oakley is extremely good about replacing broken glasses, even if you sit on them or run them over with your car!

Strengths:    Good wind protection, nice wrap

Weaknesses:    the frames are not very sturdy. Very disappointed in the quality, especially for the price

Bottom Line:
like I said no quality. I'll never buy Oakley again. Glasses didn't fall off but lensde shook lose on big hit. Poor Quality. Arnette takes all I can give. no value and 2 chilis only because of decent styling

Bottom Line:
I love these glasses, they are so comfortable! Rubber ear piece hold them in place and the nose piece doesn't pull out my hair when i flip them up. They don't change shape and require no maintenance. They are a little dark for trails with a lot of shade.

Strengths:    Styling, iridium lenses (especially the positive red lenses), comfort, robustness

Weaknesses:    slightly expensive if you buy from shops

Bottom Line:
I have two pairs of Minutes. One matt black frame with black iridium lenses which are good for when you want to be a bit more subtle. Also have have another pair with white chrome frame and positive red iridium lense. These are are coooool! Sure stands out for posing in. The rubber grips on the arms hold the shades securely on your face no matter what you're doing. I've owned over 10 pairs of Oakleys so far ranging from the old Razors, to M Frames, wire framed Oakleys etc and they are all well made and tough unless your M Frames fall out of your pocket onto the road and get run over by a car! If you want the coolest shades in town, get Oakleys. I've given the Minute 4 flaming chilis for value just because they are £80-120 in the UK.

Strengths:    Great glasses! I had mine for over 2 years and if I didnt sit on them they would still be going strong. I just purchased another pair yesterday.

Weaknesses:    Nothing really. Oakley label tends to wear off and rubber on frames loosens.

Bottom Line:
Try em out only a hundred dollars and well worth the money.

Bottom Line:
Great glasses. They are so much better than fake ones and alot of other companies. Highly recommend them. Greatest glasses I have ever owned. They last a long time and the lenses are great. Great at blocking sunlight and they have no glare so they are good for driving. Bottom line...

Strengths:    optical clarity, true color definition, style, light weight

Weaknesses:    plastic frame, fogs up rather easy but probably due to how the user wears them as opposed to the lense itself. wear them too close to your face, they will fog up. this is a problem for people with small bridges on their nose.

Bottom Line:
Great pair of sunglasses! fits my narrow face snugly. sometimes too snugly (when worn for long periods) especially above the ears. but remove the ear shocks and problem is solved. the lens is crystal clear. i have the black iridium lens and although it's one of their darkest lenses (11% light transmission) I can still wear them in the early evening.

Strengths:    Cool colours, lens colours are stylin'

Weaknesses:    The whole product is weak. The lenses scratched the first week and were a major pain in the ass to get replaced. The arm snapped in half leaving them useless. I would get another arm, but the hassle of dealing with oakley isn't worth it. This was my first and last pair of oak's, for the price there are WAY BETTER shades out there. I have owned 2 different sets of DRAGON's and a pair of SMITH interchangeable's and they are hands down more durable and designed for those who actually participate in sports rather than those extreme lounge lizards oakley seems to cater to.

Bottom Line:
Oakley's, sure if you want a flashy piece of junk or if you are just playing frisby in the park.

Strengths:    Stylish, quality lens', good head grip

Weaknesses:    Price?

Bottom Line:
These glasses are brilliant they combine style with comfort and are great for almost anything. However, they are not good for biking as they tend to move all over the place or even fall off!!! Still, these are excellent sunnies regardless of the price- which ain't bad considering the quaility and style factor. Until you buy a pair of these you will never know what "decent" sunglasses really are.

Strengths:    Great looks. Long lasting. Comfortable, don't come off at all, unless you take them off. Protect all of your eyes, sun doesn't sneak in from the side. And you can see with great clarity. Don't scratch

Weaknesses:    I guess they do fog a tad bit

Bottom Line:
These are amazing. They look great!! They are the best oakleys for your money. True pennys are probabley better sunglasses but if you want to pay $300 to $400 dollars on sunglasses be my guest. These are the best sunglasses for your money!! they are WONDERFUL. I got mine in code blue frames and black iridium lenses, they are the best things EVER!!!!!!! I strongly recommend those colors or at least those sunglasses, because nothing in them is wrong. Unlike some sunglasses THESE DON'T FALL APART!! Really get these. you will be satisfied greatly! If you want to look good, you should buy these.
