Strengths: Light, well vented, good protection for the price.Weaknesses: none yetBottom Line: I got this as an alternative to my Fox upper body suit. I love my Fox suit, but is way too hot for mid summer. The Thor chest protector is very breathable and comfy in hot weather. The protection is not as good as my Fox, but it is very good none the less. I wear the Thor chest protector as well as a kidney belt, elbow forearm gaurds, padded shorts, knee/shin gaurds, F/F helmet, etc... And works very well. I took a spill last week, "Superman Style" last week, sliding on my forearms, chest, hips and legs, on very rough gravel. All my equipment worked well, including the Thor Quadrant chest protector. If I was not wearing it, my chest would have been chewed up by the gravel. But because I was wearing it, I got up and dusted off. Not a mark on me (just my equipment).
I will give this product a top rating for a protector in this classification (a basic chest back protector). It is NOT as good as a Fox upper body suit or similar item. But, for what it is, it does it's job well
