Strengths:    Unobtrusive comfort

Weaknesses:    Thin padding

Bottom Line:
These are very comfortable pads - you quickly forget that you're wearing them. There is a tag on the inside that is kind of itchy, but after a few ride, the sweat and movement is crinkling up the tag to the point that it's no longer stiff enough to irritate my skin.

I have never crashed on my elbows with these pads, but the padding is very thin. I am not sure how much of the blow it will absorb. There is a sturdy patch of material on the outside of the pad that should prevent your skin from being scraped, but the impact will probably have only minimal damping.

I found the fit to be true to the fit guide on the Race Face website.
