from Essex, England Date Reviewed: July 3, 2000 | | Favorite Trail: | Trials, sorry... | | Duration Product Used: | 3 months | | Strengths: | Very good impact resistance... Fairly useful in body armour. My DMR V12s have not managed to tear 'em yet.
| | Weaknesses: | possible short life relative to neoprene pads due to plastic insert which may fall out after tearing.. | | Similar Products Used: | Most major pads | | Bike Setup: | DDG Shooter. XT/LX (9spd). Magura louise disks. currently DMR trailstar forks, rockshox judy long travel triple clamps occasionally.. Aonic bars. Mavic D321. DMR ringthing 22 tooth. DMR jump seat. The usual stuff..... | | Bottom Line: | Good Protectors. They dont get too hot in sunny weather and are excellent at what they do. Resist hard kicks to legs... possible drawback due to plastic insert... This produc is very good for most sorts of fairly extreme riding ie trials/dirt/dh. Bit of a waste of time for xc riders, extra weight and all that... :) | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
