Weaknesses: Minimal design - these are very lightweight elbow protectors and really almost not worth using for DH/Freeride. The actual hard protector has very small surface area. Broke both my radius and ulna at the elbow joint through these pads after taking a hard crash. Maybe could have been worse without anything, but not impressed as I likely would not have broken with something more substantial. Fine for XC/AM perhaps.
Bottom Line:
Needs more adequate surface protection and should extend further down the elbow distally. The protector plate needs to more fully cup the entire elbow.
