Strengths:    Cheap. Great shin protection. Don't look too bad. comfortable with baggy trousers

Weaknesses:    knee flaps about making it uncomfortable while wearing anything but baggy trousers. Slip down. not very adjustable

Bottom Line:
Good for starting out, and cheap. But better to spend a little more and get something alot better.

Strengths:    - Seems as though they are quite durable
- Hard shell got for hard impacts
- Dirt cheap

Weaknesses:    - Tend to slide down the leg easily unless extremely tight
- Not a lot of coverage on the sides and bottom of shins

Bottom Line:
These aren't the most comfortable things around and they don't stay in place very well. But if you want the cheapest option to protect your shin and knees then go for it.
