Strengths: Very well constructed with the best material.Weaknesses: Constantly slipsBottom Line: I owned the previous version of the Dainese Elbow Guards. The previous version was placed on the elbow through a mesh sleeve. I used them for several years until they eventually wore out. They were excellent. Without even checking the reviews I ordered a new set of pads from Dainese. They are clearly well constructed with high quality material. They, unlike the older version, are secured to the elbow with straps. Despite multiple attempts to secure the straps in different positions with different tension the pads consistently slip down my arm while riding. VERY ANNOYING!
I'm very surprised and disappointing at Dainese for marketing these as they could not have possibly been tested properly.

Strengths: noneWeaknesses: everythingBottom Line: The product is not made right. The forearm straps are way too big, and the biceps strap is way too small (ie. these were made to fit "popeye"). So, unless you have a skinny little upper arm, with huge forearms, the product will not fit right. And because it is too tight on the upper arm, and too loose on the forearm, they are constantly trying to "slide off". Just from the vibrations of riding, they do not stay in place, and start sliding down. There is no way this can protect you if it does not stay in place. I heard Dainese is the best, so I wanted to try them, and could only find online. Big waste of money. Much cheaper elbow gaurds are way better than these.
Bottom line: Do not waste your money on this product.
