Strengths:
smooth against bare skin. easy to fit. ankle cup/pad never rubs/chaffs. too cheep to turn down. fit well in any shoe. not restrictive.
Weaknesses:
stiching is a bit cheesy bonding to plastic sole. tends to get hot. absorbs sweat. sole slips if sock is wet and hot. But I did cut don the sole a bit much. not restrictive. sixsixone.
Bike Setup:
A fast one.
Bottom Line:
Since the bottom plate was cut too short, I had to sew a bandage/support elastic onto the botttom. I found removing the plastic altogether was a lot more comfy. I should have done it sooner.

Strengths:
Ankle Protection!
Weaknesses:
Where the foot piece that goes in shoe & neoprene are sewn together there's little discpmfort on the bottom of my foot on long rides or hike-a-Bike sections. Ankle cup could be a bit harder piece of plastic.

Strengths:
Excellent Product. These things have saved my ankles numerous times. Ever catch a pedal on the ankle bone "OUCH! That's gonna leave a mark!" With these you never have that happen. They are comfortable and fit in any pair of shoes and will save you some pain and money if you don't like 3/4 length shoes.
Weaknesses:
Takes a minute longer to put on your shoes with these than without them.
Buy them if you want to save yourself pain from pedals or anything else that slams into your ankles!

Bottom Line:
Good product, does what it is claimed to do. It protects your ankles and adds some support which is nice. There are plastic pads on each side for protection. These do not restrict mobility at all. They slide in underneath the inner sole of your shoe. They are comfortable and you do not even notice they are on. 5 chilis for performance because they do exactly what they are supposed to. 4 for value because i think $22.95 would be a better price. :)
