Favorite Trail:Mrazek
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $99.00
Purchased At:atomic-moto.com
Strengths:Great adjustment system, comfortable, breathes well, good price.
Weaknesses:Sizing off a little, order 1 size bigger
Similar Products Used:661 Pressure suit
Bike Setup:Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Expert
Bottom Line:I Have used a few different brands of armor, mainly a 661 Pressure suit. The 661 Pressure suit is OK but overrated, the chest piece is a poor design and they don't fit. The Axo Air Cage uses a better mesh, and has a better waist elastic system for holding the protector in place. It is also lighter and has more vent holes. I would say the Axo Air Cage is on par (or better) than the 661 Pro Pressure suit, and it is about $80 less. All in all, it is a simple, well thought-out design at a good price.
