Strength:

It holds together really good. I was pretty tough on this bike and it held up great. I did a little bit of everything with it, the fact that it was a hardtail did not stop me! i did everything including downhill, jumping, cross country, and just casual bike rides with my friends.

Weakness:

The front shocks do not work very good, this might have just been a problem with mine but maybe they are all like that.

This is a great bike for a low budget,it handles great and is a great hybrid.

Strength:

Solid construction, threadless headset, good tires, brakes work well.

Weakness:

Rear deraileur, gearing.

My five year old son has had a lot of fun on this bike. He jumps up to two foot high jumps, does some small drops, and rides over logs up to eight inches in diameter. Weight is reasonable. Bike has held up well except for the factory deraileur, which is made mainly of plastic. Chain kept jumping off, and plastic stops broke from landing jumps. Upgraded deraileur to Acera, and bike has worked like a charm since. Would like to see lower gearing (36 tooth chainring instead of 40 tooth). Overall, nice bike. Good buy for someone who's child is into serious mountain biking.

Strength:

Shimano drivetrain (6 speeds help with climbing). Cool Silver/Black paint job. Light <26lbs alloy frame. 65mm fork.

Weakness:

None yet.

Great 1st MTB, not too heavy like previous dept. store "anvil". A kid shouldn't have to ride something that weighs almost the same as the rider (daddy doesn't ride a 125lb bike, so why should I ride a 38 pounder?. Just about everything can be adjusted like a "big boy" bike (exception: no QR on the wheels). This bike makes riding trails fun!

Tested other 20" models from Trek (heavy), Kona (frame too big), Haro (light - 2nd choice), Specialized (a little to much $).
