Marzocchi forks are more reliable.
Easy to replace the oil & wiper seals.I went with Enduro seals.Used Bel-Ray 7w oil filled to 275cc in each leg. (Max is 300cc i think). Integrated stem is the only way to go. Supple suspension out of any fork i have ever used. It might bottom with me until i get some X-Firm springs.I prefer stiff. I weigh 190# + gear.
Overall great fork.It looks pretty great, probably the best looking fork out there. Soaks up rocks & roots better than any fork i have ever used. Keep fresh seals in it to avoid saturating the front brake with fork oil.My seals needed replacing, but i rode anyway's 7 a drop must have made them finally give out.No front brake the rest of the day-so keep good seals in them to avoid that scenario!

way stiffer than my last inverted fork (Risse Trixxy)
very smooth
very high quality
easily maintained
a lot lighter than the Monster T
sweet looking
makes cool gargling sounds when tipped upside down then back to right side up
it DOES have a few plastic parts
not as stiff as the Monster T, but close
no compression adjustments
gallons and gallons of oil
This fork is the bomb! I love it. It will definitely make any bike instantly better. I've tried everything from cross country rides to downhilling to jumping and it performs superb in every aspect. The only problems I've had so far have been quickly taken care of by Marzocchi. They have great customer service. Anyone and everyone should buy this fork!

It's strong, plush and overall very nice. Good for DH
the guards, ive had rocks get behind them and scratch my stentions. the flex is not that bad like everyone says ive only had a problem with this once and i got my tire stuck in a water line on the trail and it tweaked and bent the fork but was easly fixed by loosening the bolts and it poped back, mines an 04 and i took it to the shop and they said that the drop outs leak and it had to be sent in it is a malfunction by marzocchi so they replaced it for free but will make you loose oil and you have to pay for a rebuild
=(
The fork is nice if you have it i would recomend takeing it to a shop to have them check the drop outs for leaking besides that i love this fork good for anything big haha

2001 model,The fork is cheaper than Rockshox, lighter than Monstor T and has loads of travel look moto. They have fork guards as standard (good idea). Hit almost anything.
A little heavy? not to bad though. they do seem to flex when you try to by twisting bars. but can't notice it when riding. mine were first lot, had no guards.
The forks are way better than my friends Boxxers, but they dont think so (silly them). I went to france and did some big World cup style tracks, and the weight was no longer an issue, they were totally perfect all week, much better tahn any other forks out there, They are a bit much for some UK DH, but seem super strong. I have had no problems at all, not like the other reviewer did. The turned me into a superstar on the rough stuff. you will not regret getting a pair. I know too many people who have had quality issues with Boxxers, not so many Marzocchis though. I have just fitted them and thats it, perfect.

Stiffness, amount of travel, plushness of invert, ability for large drops and dh courses
nothing execpt that the stickers come off easy
Other than the Monster T this is the best fork on the market. It rides unbelievebly nicer than anything that I have ever ridden. If you can get one buy it.

Every thing is a strength about the fork, the drop outs, stanchions everything
None AT ALL!!! All of those other gay mo's have no idea what there talking about. This is the best free-ride fork on the market and I have ridin alot of them.
This is an outstanding fork. For the size and the amount of travel on the fork, it is lighter than you think it would be.

marzocchi quality, great setup, good customer service, much better ride than all, of the stratos I have ridden (not because I own one) and for the intended use, it is great, super fork. it is butter smooth, clean and alternative to the monster, and it is lighter, but taller, so dh bikes only, monsters great, even on freeride bikes, (rm 6 exam.)
lower axle bolts a bit sticky, use wax for smooth use. feels like pooh untill you break the static tension, and give it some lube on the seals. then its butta
buy it, and I dont know where the crack adicts above bought there's for 650$, it must be like, 650$ down payment. probably not us dollars. about a g is a good price.

I'm tired of all the little girls below crying about this fork being too heavy. Mine is a 2002 and it's only one pound heavier then a comparable 2006 model fork. After all it's a Downhill fork and if you ride it XC then that is your dumba$$ fault. Most people who actually trail ride this fork don't whine about how heavy it is. Now that we got that over with, on to the performance: You just can't beat a marzocchi. I've had this fork for 4 seasons and it is still buttery smooth. Once you get it set-up for your weight and riding style it eats up little bumps and big hits alike. Once a month you do need to bleed the air build up out of the fork - there are little allen screws on the top of the fork that allow you to do this easily. If you don't the fork will stiffen up like it's on viagra!!! I have not had any problems and the fork is great for racing and freeriding, but it probably is more of a race fork then a hucker. It is nice to be able to change the ride height without shortning the travel (big positive of the upside forks). Tracts great, very stiff front end. Stanchion guards look good and protect the front of the fork great. If you are a DH'er and find one at a good price it's worth every penny.
Stanchion guards do not protect the back side of the leg and rocks do bounce up and strach it. This can sometimes lead to leaky seals which someone below complained about.
The bottom line is that this is a great fork that can stand up to years of riding and/or racing. If you like moto style forks then this is your fork.
