Favorite Trail:Sagebrush Safari course
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Strengths:Extremely LIGHT and work perfectly.
Weaknesses:None
Similar Products Used:xpedo MF-4A, Crank Bros egg beaters, & Candys, Shimano 535, Welgos, Speedplay Frogs
Bike Setup:Marzocchi Corsa SL, Mavic 717/Hugi 240 wheels, SUNLINE V-1 Carbon bar & lock-on grips, KENDA Karma tires, XPEDO MF-1A Ti-Ti pedals, SIGMASPORT BC1106 Team Computer, Avid Juicy Ultimate brakes, XTR cranks, shifters, rear derail/XT front derail & cassette. 25.5 lbs.
Assembled at the one and only BUY MY BIKES!
Bottom Line:These have been great. Raced/trained on these all year and haven't had any problems. I've banged them up on rocky technical stuff, too. Never used the xpedo cleats, though. They didn't work very well with the MF-4As, so I already had Shimano cleats in my shoes and just stuck with those. I love the 'shimano' feel of these much better than the egg beaters feel. Plus these are LIGHTER! Seamless click-in click-out, easy adjustability.

Date Reviewed: February 28, 2009
Favorite Trail:New Light/Rocky Road
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $115.00
Purchased At:EBay
Strengths:Xpedo Mountain Force Ti/Ti Pedals: Light Weight, Great Looking, Smooth In/Out, easy adjust and SPD compatible
Weaknesses:came from Australia over EBay -- US dealers ??
Similar Products Used:Shimano, Wellgo, Time
Bike Setup:Awesome Rocky Mountain Element Team SC - XC Race -- XTR wheelset and hubs/XTR Pod shifters/XTR disc brakes/XTR derailleurs/XTR Cranks w Ceramic BB and bearings/Ceramic coated chain rings and cassette. Everything else is weight weenie light !
Bottom Line:Excellent quality Ti/Ti pedals - I ride hard on technical east coast stuff and XC race - 6'4' and 215# - not a masher or jumper/air guy so the Xpedo stated 185# limit is not a concern to me; retail a little pricey but worth the wait for the lower price/sale on ebay -- they are very easy/smooth in and out w great adjustability - really like the very visual adjustment gauge, no problem with epics w soles of feet; no hot spots or presure points, pedals shed mud well in our sloppy winter weather, seem to take the abuse of rocks and roots banging very well(no damage so far) and they have a good/easy rebuild kit -- I use the Shimano cleats on shoes - no problem w compatibility-- and they just look great - lots of wow! comments on the gold axle and Ti/Ti pedals. My scale says 220g (+10 over advertised) but minor thing. I've recommended them to several friends - best of both worlds; SPD quality platform w adjustable clamps and less than eggbeater weight !!
