Strengths: Quiet and not too sharp for bare feet but still good holding power with shoes. Has lasted a long time.Weaknesses: Plain looking.Bottom Line: These pedals were installed to replace the original pedals that started making clicking noises one week after purchase on my Giant Nutra-Cross bike. There was no payment for them as they replaced the original free of charge. The actual part number is LU-895N which I believe is the nine-sixteenths spindle instead of one-half inch. I believe these would be best for the casual rider. I have only put on three hundred miles max per year. A more serious rider may require more features or longevity if more miles will take their toll on them. I am looking for replacements because one was damaged in a car accident. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.
