Superstar Components Nano Tech Flats Pedal

3.33/5 (3 Reviews)

Product Description

Beautiful CNC machined bodies just 17mm thick allow for the tightest feeling pedals to rock your rig. Feet are so close to the action that you forget about rock strikes, These babies always get top marks in the reviews. Super thin and super light but tough and strong too. Pedals don't get much better than this and now almost every BMX brand is selling this pedal with their name on for over £70!

Strengths:    Only that they're cheap

Weaknesses:    The company that sells them fakes reviews under the name Tango Bravo in order to sell them.

Bottom Line:
Regardless of the pedal if you think it's acceptable to post fake reviews of your own product then go ahead. If not, I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.

Strengths:    slim light sexy and nice finish. I got the ti axle upgrade when i bent the axle hitting rocks in fort bill, so now they weight 320g a pair!

Weaknesses:    axles bend, but so would any pedal. at least the body came out unscathed. new axles are £6, and ti axles are £50 a pair

Bottom Line:
Silly price for one of the best pedals on the market. Straight out of a catalogue, and you can pay double the amount for kona wah wahs or nukeproof pedals... they are the same pedal from the same factory!

Strengths:    Very thin profile, grippy, slow spinning, well sealed, tough paint (black), light (at 499g for the pair) and for the price generally awesome!

Weaknesses:    Fitted via 8mm allen key instead of a 15mm pedal spanner.
RH pedal axle was not tightened enough in the factory and pedal developed a click during the first ride. this was fixed with a quick strip and tightening session.
Through pin model has less colour options.

Bottom Line:
This review is for the through pin model, which costs the same and looks sexier (in my opinion)
Ok, put simply these pedals rock. I've used them for some muddy XC riding, Dj and light downhill use and so far they've not let me down.
They have a pretty good fit on the foot, with a slightly concave shape and pins that are just the right length.
Besides a couple of very minor niggles these are spot on, and i recommend them highly!
