Speedplay Syzr Pedal

1/5 (1 Reviews)

Product Description

The Syzr pedal uses cleat and so-called "stabilizer wings" for stabilization of the feet. There is no direct connection between pedal and shoe sole. The pro: no annoying noises, no wobbling, no wear at the shoe. Cleats are made of steel for maximum durability. The extra large platform gives support even when the cleats are not catched. The Customize Pedal System offers an individual adjustment (Q-Factor, length of legs). Left and right pedal are adjustable independently.

Strengths:    Easy to grease.

Weaknesses:    Hard to click in and out when the tension is adjusted so you stay clipped in off jumps and in technical terrain.

Bottom Line:
This is a review of Syzr pedals that look different than the one pictured. The problem is that the spring loaded jaw is in the front of the pedal so that any forward pressure when riding will cause a release unless the tension is adjusted very high. Then they are hard to click in and out of. Save your money!
