Strengths:    Inexpensive and lightweight with a large platform. Great ground clearance thanks to the thin design.

Weaknesses:    Grip is OK, but not exceptional. It only took a couple of rock strikes to knock the grip suds off.

Bottom Line:
Has worked great so far. Light squeak in one pedal for the first 100 miles or so, but has been silent after it broke in. This pedal has single bearing in the middle of the platform and rides on the plastic body on the edges, and so far it has worked will with no play and little friction.

I understand GM has a lot of slow/technical sections and I do want to ride that, but I would also like t ... Read More »

All I can say is: Whoa! Way better than I ever thought we'd see and wayyyy bigger than I'm ever gonna ... Read More »

Glorieta Mesa

I've seen routes up to the mesa from 285 area but does anyone know a way up from the Glorieta Conference Center/50 area? I'm new to the area so if you have any other recommendations for not too technical rides that would be greatly appreciated. I'm on a rigid 29er. Thanks!Read More »

San Diego Dell Mar Mesa, Otay Lakes Conservation plan

I haven't had time to read the entire document because it is so long but what I did read does not bode well for Del Mar Mesa. Most of the maps show the trails as "subject to closure". I am leaving San Diego next month but I hope that when I come back to visit there will still be some trails to ride. ... Read More »
