Well, 5 years down the line, one of the bearings is bad. They do sell replacement parts so at least it is repairable. Basically, they'd be perfect if it weren't for the bearings, and the fact that atomic has insanely slow service. Unless you want to put that much effort into a pair of f***ing pedals, they're not worth it. Didn't arrive. The pedals break, Atomlab doesn't honour their warranty. Anyway, I fell in love with the pedals on my first ride - mainly because of the extreme grip that they provide. In fact, they grip almost as well as clipless pedals. Here is where all of the accolades end. After about two months of hard riding -- downhill and freeride -- the right pedal slipped right off the spindle. Thank god I was riding around the street at the time. Imagine if I had been out dirt jumping or doing drops! Furthermore, the exact same thing happened to my riding buddy on his Trailkings. I have never been so disappointed with any single mountain bike product as I have with these pedals. Needless to say, I will never purchase another product from Atomic Laboratories. All of these pedals should be RECALLED IMMEDIATELY as they may cause serious injuries. All of you out there who have had similar problems should voice your opinions...espcially to Atomic!
