Strengths: quieter than an X5Weaknesses: weak. 1st wreck on it and it was done.Bottom Line: Weak product. dont buy this rear d, unless you're super racer guy who can afford multiple replacements. for 2013 model.

Strengths: Fast smooth shifts, priceWeaknesses: NoneBottom Line: My bike came with a shimano deore rear der and it always missed shifts and lagged a lot especially when down shifting before a hill climb. Upgraded to the x9 and like it a lot more. It shifts fast and smooth when properly adjusted (like all good derailleurs should). I think I paid about $130 for it from blue sky and once I had it adjusted properly I havent had any problems with it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is frustrated with their current set up.
