Favorite Trail:City Park Denver, colorado
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Price Paid: $6.00
Purchased At:Nashbar.com
Strengths:Durable, performs as described.
Weaknesses:Somewhhat difficult to install.
Similar Products Used:None
Bike Setup:2003 Fuji Supreme Hybrid bicycle, standard oem equipped.
Bottom Line:Excellent and ingenious product. I average @10 miles a day, year round in all weather conditions over mainly city pavement and unpaved bike paths in Denver, Colorado. The Grunge Guard eliminates the need for frequent cleaning of the rear derailleur, especially in winter. I was so impressed with it, I purchased a Grunge Guard for the front derailleur as well, with the same impressive results. These boots are very light weight and neither product interferes in the least with shifting. I highly recommend the Grunge Guard to riders of all types of multi-speed bikes.

Lizard Skins chainstay, grunge guard for both derailleurs and headset seal.
Bottom Line:Get it. It really keeps dirt and sand off your derailleurs. No need to disassemble and wash/lube. Looks nice.. black colour sort of "disguises" it.
