Strengths: Light crankset, decent price, sleek and simple appearance, puts up with a lot of abuse.Weaknesses: None yet.Bottom Line: I bought the 2x AM version of this crankset (24/36/Bash), and I love it. The bash is solid aluminum and has stood up to a couple rock and log hits with no bends or breaks. I've also smashed the non-drive side crank arm deep enough to scratch into the aluminum, but it didn't fail. This is a very similar crankset to the Shimano SLX, but you get a solid aluminum bash, and it's $25-50 cheaper.
This comes with a newly designed GXP bottom bracket as well which seals off the bearings better than the original. No complaints after riding this 2x9 setup for the last 4 months.

Strengths: Smooth shifting chainrings
bashguard
stiff crank armsWeaknesses: non yetBottom Line: Got this as a replacement to my Fire x there was on its way out. I was surprised by they crankset. Similar to the Sram S140. The chain ring combo is great (36-24) plus you get the bashguard. Crank arms are pretty stiff. Pretty satisfied so far.
Just watch the non drive side washer on the gxp bb during the installation.
