$475.00 | | Purchased At: | probikeshop.fr | | Strengths: | Look amazing, compatility 175 mm 170mm,full carbon and ct2 rings(the best one) | | Weaknesses: | Weight(880gr vs xtr 750gr) after that wait and see... | | Similar Products Used: | Shimano xtr 2003,shimano xtr 2007 | | Bike Setup: | Foes fxr 2003 mavic 819 Chris King Thomson Stone edge fizik fox vanilla | | Bottom Line: | I wanted an alternative to shimano and those cranks are amazing when you look the details, and there reliable for the moment, shift like a dream and are not flexy(i'm 250 lbs).
So,so far so good, but as a French i'm maybe a little bit biased on this old but nice brand.

$1000.00 | | Purchased At: | local shop | | Strengths: | gorgeous appreance, unique elastomer, changeable lenght
full carbon, fast shifting(ceramic ct2 chain rings) | | Weaknesses: | high cost, weight, | | Similar Products Used: | shimano xtr, fsa carbon, extralite e-bone, | | Bike Setup: | dt swiss xrc100, xtr component, s-work carbon08 frame,
extralite things and tune dt wheels | | Bottom Line: | cool looks and realible working every time.
but high cost and little more weight.
this is 880g and nowdays i think this crank is heavy in comparison to other high-cost crankset.(frm, extralite, fsa are all below 750G)
but ct2 chainring give a excellent perfomance and you will see a new world.
this is very stiff and beautiful so despite of it's weight i higlly recommend this.
stronglight insist elastomer reduce a shock and gives a comfotable. i want to believe. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
