Strengths:    Reliable, simple, dirt cheap and solid build.

Weaknesses:    Lagging occational shifts(not sure its the crank sets faults.

Bottom Line:
Just assembled and owned my first all Shimano drive components aluminium bike and the feel and performance is far exceeded my old, made in china knock off downhill frame bike. Compare to my previous $3.00 crank set(Sa Suntour), there is no flexing of the crank sets under my 110kg weight. Small shifting issues in slow speeds(rare). Overall good beginners set.

Strengths:    strong for a square taper bottom bracket style crank. never had any problems w/ it coming loose.. its a 3 piece

Weaknesses:    freakin heavy.. non replaceable rings

Bottom Line:
i would not buy this to go on any bike to go on single track with, but for road/commuting/fireroad kind of biking it is a sturdy cheap crank. i bet you could find something better for 50 bucks though.
