    Strength:

    Stiff, no detectable flex compared to M960. Lighter weight than M960. Chainrings last a long time. No issues with composite big ring.

    Weakness:

    None found.

    This crankset is expensive but you get what you pay for. At last somebody has made a lightweight crankset that is stiff and performs flawlessly. Look around, you will see them everywhere on all types of offroad bikes!

    Similar Products Used:

    I have used Shimano XTR M960 and Raceface Deus. XTR M970 is a step above both.
