Strength:

SUPER Cheap.. going for $80 for 3 rings a crank and BB...Strong enough for just about any smooth rider.

Weakness:

Not DH strong so I'm sure someone can break it doing the wrong thing.

For the prices that these cranks are getting closed out at its hard to find a better deal. Even if you just need to replace a chain ring or BB this is a better option in the long run. I installed it myself (bikes are easy to work on) and have had Zero complaints. Beats the pants off the old square taper BB/Crank setup I had.

Bottom line if you pick this up sub $100 you'll be in a better place than sticking with an old Square tape, Isis or Octadrive crank. Way stiffer, the BB should be the 2nd longest lasting behind the ol square taper versions.

When you look at the cost of replacing just a chain ring (up to $25 for 1) or a BB ($30 plus install if you arent brave enough to do it) its a no brainer. Solid crank for most riders, even if you bend a crank you're still coming out ahead in terms of chainring and BB replacement cost.

Strength:

Nice design and package

Weakness:

Poor execution =pinch bolts

Dont buy them. After 10 miles they were creaking so the shop torqued everything down again. The pinch bolts were loose. Another 10 miles and the same thing, this time it was the bearing cups. 3rd time around 1 pinch bolt stripped and had to be drilled out, taking the threads with it. They are going to be returned to jenson. I dont think the pinch bolts are very well thought out and strip very easily. Only 30 miles for me.
