Strengths:    This is a very stiff crank set. I had my doubts but after I installed them on my Scalpel it seemed like one of the stiffest parts on the bike. I went for the BB30 for the BSA 68 option. Easy to install and adjust bearing preload. Beautiful engineering.

Weaknesses:    The 30T ring is junk. It didn't last long before the mounting standoffs broke and the ring bent. Bearing cups require more service intervals to apply fresh grease to stop creaking sounds.

Bottom Line:
A beautiful addition to your ride if beauty is what you need. I was weary about buying this crank set because I wanted something like the Cannondale Si but I didn't want to spend that kind of money on the Si. Extralite definately got it right minimalizing weight but not sacrificing strength.
