Submitted by Scott a Racer from USAF Academy, CO
Date Reviewed: August 19, 1999
Favorite Trail:
Anything in Los Alamos NM
Duration Product Used:
2 Years
Strengths:
Bulletproof
Solid
Weaknesses:
Heavier than other gruppos; not the quickest shifting
Similar Products Used:
Shimano 105; Ultegra
Bike Setup:
Bianchi Veloce
Bottom Line:This group came on my first road bike. I've done several races with it, and I have no complaints as to the performance. The group weighs the bike down, but it works great for an entry level to intermediate rider.
Overall Rating:3

Submitted by Tomas Rendl a Cross-Country Rider from Prague, Czech Republic
Date Reviewed: May 6, 1999
Duration Product Used:
2 Years
Strengths:
Reliability, Durability
Weaknesses:
If you want a lighter group, buy a Chorus or Record
Similar Products Used:
Campagnolo Record, Shimano Dura-Ace
Bike Setup:
Steel frame, Veloce gruppo
Bottom Line:Great for a beginner racer. If you want to save grams and spend money there are other groups to buy. It's the legs that matter more though.
Overall Rating:4
