Strengths:    It sure ain't the material

Weaknesses:    The metal

Bottom Line:
These are the worst rings I have ever used. They shifted awful, and I originally thought it was me, but when I replaced the rings with my original ones the shifting problems went away.

So I have to conclude that the rings themselves did not
shift very well.

Sorry but this wa an awful experience

If you can avoid these rings do so.

Strengths:    Hi - evolve chain rings came with my rocky mtn etsx-50. Have had plenty of challenges - latest is bending the tooth on the middle sprocket - not the hardest metal. Could be improved, but like many things, there for the UPGRADING...

Bottom Line:
decent for inclusion to stock, but go up to deus

Any recommendations on replacements. The stock RF chainrings seemed to wear pretty fast. I'm guessing they have 200 miles of off road miles on them. Maybe 20% of that wet conditions.Read More »
