Basically, I bought these because the new Real Design rings I put on my bike were the cause of horrible and frequent chainsuck. Their fault was they did not adhere to standard chainring spacing or thickness, which resulted in severe chainsuck on a bike with ALL new drivetrain components.
The QBP rings have No ramped faces. They come with a lengthy explanation of what factors affect chainring performance, which was a smart touch.
QBP Engagement rings are clearly built to the correct thickness to provide the proper spacing on Shimano cranks, and I regard Shimano as the dimensional standard EVERYBODY must kowtow to. I experienced good shifting with NO chainsuck whatsoever, on the first ride!
If you don't need ramped rings, these are a great, easy to find replacement; just ask your local bike shop. The reason I don't give them a higher rating is it pains me to pay so much for chainrings, and I will admit QBPs prices are in line with the rest of the industry.
