Strengths: Never had a problem with a SRAM hollow pin chain. I'm assuming this one will be greatWeaknesses: No weight savings. Cost moreBottom Line: No need to spend the extra money for the 1091R over the 1091. I just pulled a 1091 off my bike and it was 247 grams. The new 1091R was 244 grams. The price difference isn't huge, but the weight savings is non-existent.
