So strong, the rollercoaster came off and bent a load of spokes in my rear wheel. Make sure the bolts are tight, use nut lock!

Well i just got it so i'm not entierly sure yet but it seems strong in a it'll break that rock before it falls to pieces
Weaknesses:
doesn't seem to take smaller rings very well but i dont think it's set up right yet.

Azonic DS 2 with slalom bits. Might swap it onto my DH SC Bullit which looks like it might suit it more.
Bottom Line:
At the moment it seem like a bit of a faff to fit but still took less than my DMR, light and is easy to build. looks pretty bulet proof, for a tenner (british)it's excellent value, friends can be useful. Give it a try, it cant be any worse than any of the others out there which dont fit and fall apart.

sold and work, but have had problems with the sring on the roller coaster it snaped,besides that no troubles at all

Bottom Line:
At last a chain device that actually works! I messed around with a DMR Elite Speed Guide for 4 hours and found that 50% of the parts were warped / badly made - the damn thing wouldn't fit. Since then I've been wary of committing money to a new chain device - however - your front mech doesn't really work with a single ring so it was time to lay down the $$$.
I got the Roox Animals for only GBR £50, reduced from £90. Apparently the new Roox Rollercoaster is better and costs £100, the guy at the shop said this was the last Animals left in stock so I snapped it up. I like the Chaincat (roller) better than the twin jockey wheels of the new Rollercoaster - in my mind a chainwheel which hold things in place more securely than two jockey wheels?
Got home, stripped the cranks and bottom bracket. Deore Hollowtech cranks on a UN-52 68mm/112mm bottom bracket. I'm soon changing the cranks to 24/7 Dark Angel 3-piece cromoly cranks which like the profiles, use a splined cromoly axle. I spoke to 24/7 who confirmed this product will work 100% with their cranks..
Very easy to fit, unlike the DMR Elite Speedguide. It took me of all 20 minutes to fit it, tighten the cranks, align the chaindog and chaincat and get things running smoothly. It's a little bit noisy as my Deore's 42t chainring is warped and makes the chain "wander" from side to side when spinning the cranks. Once I get the 24/7 cranks I'll switch to a 7mm alloy chaindisc which won't wander as it will be "true".
The hardest part was figuring out how to set things up properly,as there were no instructions in the bag. The bag was ripped though, so maybe there were some instruction that got lost. The chaindog (which replaces the front mech) is simple, seems to work great and easy to adjust. The chaincat (roller) is silent, has a deep groove and works 100%.
Things I really liked:
1)Solid construction - machined from thick billet to good tolerances, everything fits really well. I can't see myself bending this too easily. 2)Lateral adjustment - brilliant idea - the chaindog and chaincat slide in and out on little axles with simple adjustment screw - super easy to get the chainline right and caters for wide range of b/b's and cranks. Why has no one else used this idea? This was my biggest beef with the DMR guide, you had to pack the cage with washers to make lateral adjustments. 3) Bottom bracket shell / bottom bracket mounted - the bottom bracket pinched the thick alloy mounting plate - and two little screws tighten against the outside of your frame's bottom bracket tube to make things nice and secure. 4) Sliding arms for chaindog/chaincat - makes adjustment very easy- you just loosen two screws and slide the arms up or down to cater for different sized chainrings or to vary the chain tension. You can even adjust this whilst the cranks and chainring are in place.
To conclude - solid, works 100%, great value at £50. I looked at mr. Dirt Gizmo (which was £100 and needed a 5 bolt chainring), MRP (which looked okay but cost £150 and also needed a 5 bolt chainring!!), the various MRP copies (which use flimsy plate which soon bends)and some other budget devices. But as I got this great device at a "budget" price I'm well happy. Recommended!

Looks good in black. MIne is the rollercoaster and it rocks, its totally silent easy to set up. and my chain has never fell off. its really stiff and the rollercoaster at the bottom keeps the chain really tight on.

This is the best chainguide that I have used. Its better then the MRp and a lot cheaper which counts for a lot.
