Favorite Trail:Diablo Freeride Park
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $130.00
Purchased At:Universal Cycles
Strengths:review for Fusion version. same as system 3 except for the lexan bash ring.
mounts directly to frame with ISIS mounting holes. thick, but lightweight lexan bashring. smooth and silent bright orange rollers. quality fit and finish all around. fits the Demo 9 Pro with no modification, unlike the e13. most importantly, keeps my chain on.
Weaknesses:not a wide enough assortment of spacers for my set up. I had to track down some washers to space it out correctly. Also, the instructions are total crap. One page that doesn't go into any kind of detail. you'll be fine if you're handy and patient. If not find someone who's done it before for some tips.
Similar Products Used:none
Bike Setup:Demo 9 pro, FSA 36t DH chain ring, Shimano 8spd rear cassette, SRAM 8spd chain, Truvativ Holzfeller cranks/gigapipe bottom bracket, SRAM X.9 rear derailleur.
Bottom Line:4 chilis for 2 reasons unrelated to the product quality. 1. lack of detailed instructions. It's a relatively easy install, but deserves more than what they provide. 2. few spacing options for the bashring. It comes with one set of wide and one set of paper thin spacers. A couple more sizes to dial it in perfectly would have been really nice. I had to run to stop working and run to Home Depot to buy a washer that would space it just right.

Value rating of 3 because $130 is a lot for what's included in the kit. It is a high quality product, but can't be more than $30 worth of material including fabrication. With that said, considering the other options, I would buy the MRP all over again.
