G2 A purpose-built chain guide, the all-new MRP G2 boasts chain retention and loads of protection for downhill racers, all at a svelte 260grams. The patented inboard Skid provides bash protection for the chaining and extends back to protect the lower guide mechanism. The Skid also adds an element of stiffness to the entire guide, and its unique assembly configuration distributes impact loads evenly to the boomerang.

Bottom Line:
I've pretty mush put this guide through everything possible, Ive crashed, ridden on fast pedally courses btu also extremely tech courses, in the mud and overall it just blew my expectations away. I much prefer this guide to the LG!.
best feature is the bash guard that covers the lower pulley!
Best direct mount guide on the market

Loud. Getting a lot of chain slap on the derailleur style guide
Overall a great guide. It's light weight and keeps the chain on the ring. I haven't lost a chain yet. My only complaint is the chain slap on the derailleur style upper guide. It's incredibly annoying and loud. I'm going to look at either putting some noise reducing material on the guide or retro fitting a guide pulley to increase the tension on the chain and keep it from flopping around.
Granted, the chain slap could be a result of the frame design.
