Strengths: easily replaced with mrpWeaknesses: everythingBottom Line: worst piece of crap ever made. mr dirt should be ashamed of this junk. the plastic guides shred and jam chain the metal arms bend very easily.this cost me a few dnf. it came on my kona i replaced it with a mrp and have no problems. kona agrees its junk but still puts it on dh bikes, i thik to save some bucks.

Strengths: Hasn't lost the chain from the top guideWeaknesses: top plate snapped after about three months use in the dry, but by combining the remains with a DMR mech-verter I have a fully floating top guide, which has been awesome, even throughout the GB winter.
the bottom guide clogs with mud alot and the chain ends up doubling up between the chainring and the guide, which doesn't stop your run, but sounds and feels like all hells gonna break lose. Also the bottom guide plate is really bendy.Bottom Line: This is a good idea let down by the really cheesy mild steel plates conecting the guides to the BB. If this were beefed up to AC standards, I would buy it again, if not, see ya.

Strengths:
Hold your chain on when the trails are dry.you can run small chain rings for tight courses.Weaknesses:
Blocks up with mud. Bends easily.Bottom Line: During the brief U.K. summer this chain device worked great with very few problems but as soon as it started to rain and the courses got muddy the guides got clogged up and caused the chain to double up on the bottom guide. I was having to take the guide apart after every run to clean it out (during limited practice time thats a real pain) in the end it expired halfway down a run as it turned in to a lump of twisted metal.
Kind of ironic its made by a company called Mr. Dirt. Would be 4 stars if I rode where it was dry all year round.
