Strengths:    Gold looks awesome. Taken multiple hits and is still intact and in great shape.

    Weaknesses:    Can't think of any

    Bottom Line:
I love this thing. Has taken a beating and still looks great. Who needs that stupid top gear anyway on the trail? Get one!

Strengths:    I had a custom basher made just for me and it looks great.
It’s lightweight, fits perfect and mine all mine…

    Weaknesses:    None

    Bottom Line:
If you want a great looking bash guard in any one of many hot colors this is for you.
You can order a custom one like I did or get the standard one; either way you cant go wrong.
Nate and Hodad are great to deal with and fast to respond to any questions you may have; plus I like supporting Small American companies.

Just a note if you use a FSA basher you’ll need standard chainring bolts as FSA uses ones with a large head.

Strengths:    Strictly looks. It doesn't get any more agro than this. Fit perfectly with my E-13 DRS and very dificult to scratch anodizing. Smashed it once pretty good riding urban and it came out scratched, but not bent.

Weaknesses:    Needed shorter bolts than I had with my E-13 bashgaurd.

    Bottom Line:
If you want something different than everyone else this is pretty cool. Also buying from a small US company is always a bonus. How else are you going to get Gold?

Strengths:    great looks, lightweight, strong! fits well

    Weaknesses:    none so far

    Bottom Line:
Flashy looks for the gold color but I guess they come in other colors too. I like the added bling! I had to use the shorter chainring bolts for the Goldtooth guard instead of the Saint long bolts.

Chainguide/Tensioner recommendations for a double chainring with bashguard?

Ok, so I just purchased a 2014 Kona Process 153DL and love it but the chain will slip off or drop to the small ring quite often when taking any sort of hit. It is stock right now with a XO clutch rear mech, 22/36/Bashguard set up. Can I just get a tensioner and keep current bashguard or should it ... Read More »

Chain too thick for chainring / bashguard

I have a SRAM PC-1 1/8" chain and set up a Shimano Deore Crankset with a 32t chainring and BBG Bashguard. The snaplink doesn't quite fit in between the two and it creates a click when it gets to the chainring. I may get a couple washers and space out the bashguard but the correct size washers ar ... Bashguard for SRAM XX1 28T?

    Bashguard question

Hi friends. Quick question since I'm a total backguard-noob. I've always been riding XC but after switching to 1x10 I feel that my front chainring is in a very vulnerable spot. The trails around where I live are very technical, rocky and almost trail/all mountain-style. So I was looking at someth ... Read More »

    SB-75 Bashguard?

Any SB-75 owners out there have found a good (preferably non-ISCG) bashguard solution? The combination of SRAM S1000 2x10 crankset with the X7 derailleur makes it tricky. I'm looking at the Blackspire Defender but it's hard to say if it will clear the derailleur bracket, or even mate sufficiently w ... Read More »
