Strengths:    Gold looks awesome. Taken multiple hits and is still intact and in great shape.

    Weaknesses:    Can't think of any

    Bottom Line:
I love this thing. Has taken a beating and still looks great. Who needs that stupid top gear anyway on the trail? Get one!

Strengths:    I had a custom basher made just for me and it looks great.
It’s lightweight, fits perfect and mine all mine…

    Weaknesses:    None

    Bottom Line:
If you want a great looking bash guard in any one of many hot colors this is for you.
You can order a custom one like I did or get the standard one; either way you cant go wrong.
Nate and Hodad are great to deal with and fast to respond to any questions you may have; plus I like supporting Small American companies.

Just a note if you use a FSA basher you’ll need standard chainring bolts as FSA uses ones with a large head.

Strengths:    Strictly looks. It doesn't get any more agro than this. Fit perfectly with my E-13 DRS and very dificult to scratch anodizing. Smashed it once pretty good riding urban and it came out scratched, but not bent.

Weaknesses:    Needed shorter bolts than I had with my E-13 bashgaurd.

    Bottom Line:
If you want something different than everyone else this is pretty cool. Also buying from a small US company is always a bonus. How else are you going to get Gold?

Strengths:    great looks, lightweight, strong! fits well

    Weaknesses:    none so far

    Bottom Line:
Flashy looks for the gold color but I guess they come in other colors too. I like the added bling! I had to use the shorter chainring bolts for the Goldtooth guard instead of the Saint long bolts.

    Simple/lightweight bashguard/skid for XX1 with ISCG05 tabs?

I'm running XX1 and am looking for something simple and lightweight to protect the chainring from strikes when things get gnarly. I've seen a "rock ring" made by North Shore that looks decent and runs 60g but apparently doesn't fit XX1 cranks. Since my bike (Turner Burner) has ISCG05 tabs I can al ... Read More »

2x X0 bashguard that mounts to the spider (not ISCG)

I have a X0 2x crankset with 24/38 chainrings. I have a GXP style bottom bracket. I have been searching for a bashguard and I would prefer a guard that mounts outside of the big ring rather than the ISCG mount guards. I have found a few X0 chainring sets with a bashguard included; however, I can't s ... Read More »

38 tooth Gamut bashguard for sale. brand new

I am selling my brand new 38 tooth gamut bashguard. I have decided to go single speed and this guard will be too big of an application for my gearing. I paid 54.99 for it. Bashguard Sizing/Gearing

I have a 2005 Cannondale Prophet 800. Currently it has a TruVativ Firex SL, 22/32/44 teeth. I only use my big ring when bombing, but honestly probably don't need it if I change my other two. I have newer shifters that can be switched to 2x instead of 3x. I am thinking about dropping the big ring an ... Read More »
